Raceland better not take this game lightly. Big game last week and a big game next week. Raceland better not get the mindset that this is not a bye week or a god awful West Carter team. If Raceland comes out flat like they did against East Carter this will be a long night in Olive Hill.

 

Couldn't agree more. Raceland had better come out as ready to play for West Carter as they do anyone else, or they will go home with a lose.

I was told that the Super Bowl hangover has hit pretty hard. But that can happen when you invest so much emotion into one game and then lose it.

I saw Raceland earlier this year against Fairview and I was really impressed with Boyles (sp?). Sparks has a big time leg is he getting any college interest?

I was told that the Super Bowl hangover has hit pretty hard. But that can happen when you invest so much emotion into one game and then lose it.

 

Give me a break...that's been blown a little bit out of porportion. Sure it was an emotional game ...for both teams. The renewal of any rivalry would be. But now it's back to business as usual. The communties may have hyped it up, but not the players & coaches. Sure they want to win, but the season as a whole (especially the playoffs) is far more important than one game. Both teams have more important business to tend to.

 

I hope both Raceland & Russell do well in the playoffs.

Welcome to BGP M.C. :thumb: I haven't heard if Sparks is getting any looks from anyone or not. You are right about his leg, very good kicker. I understand that former Ram kicker and QB / Current Ohio State Buckeye Aaron Pettry worked with Sparks over the summer on his kicking.

 

Sparks may also get some looks in basketball as well.:thumb:
