October 18, 200718 yr … From me over mindless drivel. Oh, boo freaking hoo. They can get another one.
October 18, 200718 yr I've said it before and I'll say it again. We live in a society where the treatment of animals outweighs the treatment of human beings.
October 18, 200718 yr … From me over mindless drivel. Oh, boo freaking hoo. They can get another one. Some pets are like family to people, I know ours were. I can imagine what the kids are going through. I never heard of a rescue organization who would take a pet away for that reason.

A lesson learned for the the little kiddies, learn to cope.

That's what I was thinking, I mean its not like they've had it for a long period of time, it's still new to them. Go to the pound and get another puppy, or go to the organization and get that one back, but don't go on national television crying about a puppy that the kids had for 2 weeks.

I never heard of a rescue organization who would take a pet away for that reason. I agree. To me, once you have made the transaction, there should be no legal recourse for that organization. Let's face it, this isn't a child we're talking about. Essentially (and legally), it's property. Beyond that, the way they lied was unconscionable. They said they were coming to check things out and then took the dog away. I'm not an Ellen fan at all; but I'm right with her on this one! I hope those idiots get driven out of business.
October 18, 200718 yr How dare Ellen feel terrible for getting these little kids dog taken away. Little kids become attached to animals very quickly and there was no reason for these people to take the dog back. I guarentee they're going to give it back eventually and this was a bonehead move on both of their parts.

I've never met such a compassionate person before...
October 18, 200718 yr I don't think taking the puppy away from the kid's was appropriate either. Ellen gave the dog to a good home. So now where is the puppy? In an animal shelter environment (in a cage)? So much for rescue mission's for dog's.
October 19, 200718 yr Did your parents give you a puppy as a child and take it away two weeks later or something? I've never met such a compassionate person before...Let me explain the situation with RTS for you...with a visual:
October 19, 200718 yr I believe I read yesterday where it was given to a new family. That's ridiculous.
