October 9, 200718 yr Author Kragthorpe taking heat tonight about divulging information about the team... Jurich evidently ducked interview with ESPN, last Friday. School says logistics couldn't be worked out. Interesting. Not many Ville fans on WHAS tonight very optimistic about Saturday.

October 9, 200718 yr Well obviously UL is going to give up some points to UC. The question is can UL score enough to negate that. The whole key is whether or nor UC can get a lot of pressure on Brohm. If they can't and Brohm is able to count to 1 thousand and 5 like he does most games before making a throw then UC may have their hands full.

October 9, 200718 yr I think they settled for the wrong coach. That is coming from a non UL fan. I disagree. Coach K was a hot item on a lot of short lists. It just hasn't gotten off to the start that the coach, players or the administration wanted. For some reason, I have a hunch that UL will pull out of their tailspin this week. Don't ask me why, just a hunch. UL 42 UC 40

They've been fairly consistent this year...the defense has been horrific, and the offense has been very good. Unfortunately, with the defensive effort, or lack of, the offense has to be almost flawless to get a win. No real reason to expect that to change after half a season, but I hope it does.

I think the offense is pretty inconsistent. They start off the season running the ball excellent, get behind by 7 points and then completely abandon it. The play calling as a whole has been very inconsistent imo.
