2007/2008 Scott Co

What does Scott Co need to do to improve in 2007/2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Assuming for the moment that Mackey won't be available, what do the Cardinals do to adapt to his absence?

I don't know if its possible to improve on what Scott Co accomplished last year. 34-2, state champion, undefeated in the state, beat a team with 2 McD. All Americans, played the states toughest schedule by far. Improvement may be an unrealistic expectation.

With all due respect intended to what that team accomplished, I agree it is unrealistic to burden this year's team with those expectations. they have a good opportunity to be in the mix in Region 11, but they will be severely challenged by several teams.

It all depends , if the roomers are wright and the Adams kid is coming back

that would put a different spin on it all.:dancingpa:flame:

It is not a rumor. He was wanting to come back before the Mackey incident happened. What a great kid.

Excuse my ignorance, but who is the Adams kid, and what does he bring to the table for Coach Hicks and Scott County???

Adams was a key substitute guard for SC last year. He is a very good 3 point shooter. He will provide much needed depth at guard. In the Scott Co system you need 3 or 4 guards that can give you a lot of minutes.

Which of Scott County's players will be the differentiator?

Which of Scott County's players will be the differentiator?

Phares will be a dominating big man, Hundley is as tough a kid as any in the state and makes big plays, and Portwood is one of the best pure shooters in the state, and they have an athletic Jordan Lee on the inside and plenty of other guys who can Play

Don't feel too sorry for Scott County

but I would recommend getting a ticket for the Catholic game early:thumb:

That will be the issue is for them to find a go to guy down the stretch of games. As far as a one on one type guy, they may have to look at some guys that arent seniors. Phares may be the guy in the post and Guyn may be the guy on the perimeter.

Your right don't feel sorry for Scott Co. They have to many good players and they can go to the bench this year and not blink an eye. Jordan Adams started back at Scott co today. He will be eligible to play and what great timing. It looks now more like Scott co and Catholic will be close to an even match-up in the 11th.

I don't think that Scott co needs to be held up on a pedestal, right now anyway. The Adams kid is a senior also.
