NKY Football Mid-Season in Review

Now that we are about halfway through the 2007 season, let's take a look back at the first half of the season in NKY. Consider the following issues:

 

1. Biggest pleasant surprise (team) in NKY so far

2. Biggest disappointment (team) in NKY so far

3. Best coaching job in NKY so far

4. Best football game in NKY so far

5. Best offense in NKY so far

6. Best defense in NKY so far

7. Best special teams in NKY so far

8. Best player in NKY so far

9. Best overall team in NKY so far

I'm not sure how either Holmes or CCH can be the most disappointing. Both were expected to struggle this season especially this early into the season.

I think you go with CCH only because a premier program that starts 1-4 is a disappointment.

OK. I didn't realize 1-4 wasn't a disappointment in Park Hills. Maybe with some good fortune we'll see the Blue Colonels in Ft. Thomas come November:thumb:

I have always thought of CovCath as a program that just reloads not rebuilds. I think any year that they would start 1-4 would be below expectations.

Its not as if the fans in Park Hills are happy with the record. We're simply smart enough to know year to year what to expect.

They hammered the team they should have hammered.

 

The only loss that could even remotely be labeled as "disappointing" is the NCC loss. Not exactly a bad team themselves.
