Maxpreps updated their site. Despite the loss, Trinity actually moved up in the poll to #19. Cincy St. X moved up one spot to claim the #1 spot in the country (by a 6.5% margin!). Louisville St. X was a big mover after Male, jumping 44 spots to claim 16th. I don't think national rankings for high school are very valid, especially this yearly in the season, but KY has more teams in the Top 20 than TX, LA, IL, FL, PA and GA.

Max Preps Rankings

These types of national ratings are a waste of time.

Good to see "The Big 2" in the Top 20. That special friday night in September is just around the corner.:ylsuper: :dancingpa

I don't see how they could honestly be in the top 25.

Delta its good to see you are back! Go Tigers!!!

With all due respect based on past success, Louisville Male is not a top 25 team. I heard some people talking about them on this topic and IMHO they are in a rebuilding year. It wont take long for a team that great to get back in the top 25, but this year is definitely not one of them. I watched them play Highlands in a full-game scrimmage and this just in-Highlands is really really good. Louisville is Kentucky Football, but Highlands is Kentucky's first Dynasty!!

Go buy a USA today newspaper and you can see the top 20 High School Football Rankings, these seem to be legit
