Today started out like every other day. I headed to work and completed my first two sites and on my way to the third while SETTING at a RED LIGHT some lady(I have another word but really don't want to be kicked off of this great site) going an estimated 35 mph plows into me. My car is totaled and she fled the scene and the officers could not locate her. They send a cruiser into the neighborhood she fled to but had no luck. Her car was leaking anti freeze badly and her right head light was off along with her hood being damaged.

 

 

To cap this perfect day off while unloading the stuff from my once was good running car I broke the strap on my gym bag.

Sorry to hear about your car wreck, but it's good to see you weren't seriously injured. Hopefully the police will catch this woman, but if she fled the scene, I'm willing to bet she doesn't have insurance. Did you have full coverage on your car? What kind of work are you doing now NCF?

If she ran after hitting you that must mean that she has no insurance:irked: :madman: and that makes me so mad:madman: :madman: I hope that you weren't hurt.

No full coverage on this car.I just started driving it this morning after having a engine put in it. I had change my whole route around today so that I would end up close to state farm to have them put full coverage on the car. I thought there is no way it will hurt anything driving it to...Boy was I so wrong.

Yes they sent an officer into the neighborhood she drove into but had no luck after searching.

People like that really tick me off. My son was backed into by a lady and him being young didn't call the police. Her husband came by the house and said he would take care of it but his wife decided that the car already had a dent in it. Lesson learned. Hope that everything turns out OK for you.

Not hurt. Angry with myself for driving the car and just a little hot under the collar at her for taking off. If I had not been knocked silly she would have never made it back to her car. I was trying to push mine out of the middle of the road but it would not move. Later it took five her six firemen to move it.

It always does. I'm a survivor and lucky enough to have two other cars to drive. Both insured, and I want to add that part very loud.

I hate the way car insurance works. Isn't it true that if someone has liability insurance and they get hit by someone without it, then neither car gets paid for?

Car insurance is a sham that we all are forced to be taken in by but what else is one to do?

NCF, sorry to hear about the accident. My daughter got rear-ended on her first day of school; thankfully just a tap and the lady who tapped her didn't run off. I hope everything works out for you.

 

And I thought the gym bag part was pretty funny. And whatever you do, take care the rest of the day. I've always heard that bad things come in threes.:creepy:
