I hate it for the kids.

I'm sure he has his reasons, like stated by swforver, tough on the players. I hope Coach Hamilton can keep the season on the right path.

If you ask the football folks at Boyd County they will tell you that West Jessamine has the fox watching the hen house!

Didn't one of Fulton County's head coaches just up and leave in the middle of the night? No note. No speech. No nothing. Just pulled a Baltimore Colts and left.

I have a much different opinion of Coach Hamilton, based off getting to know him over the years.

Not surprised considering your picture and your stated location on the baseball field. I am not saying a bad word about anyone...just bringing up the fact that if you told the football folks at Boyd County who the new Football coach at West Jessamine is reported to be, well, shall we say that they would be very surprised.

I could be wrong and probably am but I know the tension was pretty strong between the sports programs at BCHS during his tenure.

 

With that said, if he has any football knowledge and puts the same amount of effort into football then he will do great. He is a gifted baseball coach as I understand.

I recieved information after the Bourbon game that West would be looking for a new coach for next season, however I do not think that it was expected for him to be gone in the middle of the season. This isn't good for the kids, and will be hard for Coach Hamilton to come in and try to keep things going, I wish him the best of luck trying to get the kids to have a positive attitude towards the rest of the season. I wonder how Coach Hamilton will manage to juggle both football and golf. Does anyone know if he has an assistant for golf that will take over most of his duties there, or will one sport have to suffer practice time? Keep us informed.

You're prejudging myself and the opinions I have, based off I'm a baseball person....That is fine but I have no idea, how Coach Hamilton will do as a Football coach, at West Jessamine but I wish him and the program, the best.

 

As for tension at Boyd County, didn't he want raises for his assistant coaches and they weren't granted, so he left....I know several other aspects but I'll let those be but I admire his loyalty and character.
