What is so hard to understand about a highly ranked team which is favored winning at home against a team that is without its stud RB??? UT and Cal split their series. Big deal.

Predictable that the haters are harping on the only game the SEC lost OOC...which they were supposed to lose.

 

UT should be commended for playing a highly ranked team on the road in their opener. All they had to do to get a win was schedule a high school team like UL and UC did...:laugh:

This isn't hard to understand at all. This is what happens when teams play good team on the road. This game doesn't do any more than illustrate what I thought, and what many other people refuse to believe. The SEC is closer to the rest of the pack than they have have been touting themselves.

Have you seen me say one word about this game other than it's funny to see the spin cycle when a SEC team drops an OOC game? Look closely. Cal was the favorite, played better across the board and won at home like they should have.

 

And you forgot to add UK in the mix for teams opening with a 1AA opponent. UK used to open strong, but apparently it didn't give them much of a chance to win so they moved it back a few weeks...

IMO, UT isn't even one of the best 6 in the SEC...Personally, I'm glad they lost and Cal got a little revenge for last years game...The Vols have potential to be a top 5-6 team in conference, but, they have more question marks than most teams in the conference do...

I don't see any spin. I see telling it like it is. I don't have to look closely, you are finally posting what I posted when the game was over, and have posted about 3 times since....

 

I didn't include UK in the mix because I haven't seen UK fans dogging UT over their loss, even though they are our most hated rival...anyway, UK's schedule is ranked anywhere from 2 to as low as 7th toughest in the nation...as for moving the UL game, that's just more for the haters to think about during the 3 1/2 hours per day they spend thinking about UK and the SEC...:ylsuper:

Again. I did not dog UT over their loss, only the first line of defense that always shows up when a SEC team drops a OOC game. So your mention of UC opens you up to a shot at UK. The UC schedule is strong after week 1 as well, and was one of the toughest in the country last year. Nice try though. Next...
