But I thought the top 6 SEC teams should all be ranked in the top 10 in the nation....:rolleyes:

If Tenn isn't good, fine by me, but don't pump them up when they start winning in conference games.

For some reason, you keep failing to retain all the posts that point out UT was without their stud RB...read through this thread and the update thread 3 or 4 times, SLOWLY...:D

Again. I did not dog UT over their loss, only the first line of defense that always shows up when a SEC team drops a OOC game. So your mention of UC opens you up to a shot at UK. The UC schedule is strong after week 1 as well, and was one of the toughest in the country last year. Nice try though. Next...

UC schedule in the same breath as UK's??? Thanks for playing. There'll be a nice parting gift.:lol:

Here is the deal, depth is important. I find it especially ironic that an SEC team would find themselves in a lack of talent situation that would cause them to lose. Maybe Tenn would be better if they had the other back, but they don't, so it doesn't matter.

I don't think it's very close this year, but last year I would definitely say their schedule was tougher.

They will develop other backs as the season progresses. Even if Coker doesn't return, their running game will improve as their backs get PT...

If your argument is that having your top RB out for the first game of the season doesn't hurt, we will just agree to disagree. Even so, lack of a running game didn't hurt UT against Cal as much as turnovers and letting a punt get run back for a long TD...

Speaking of that punt return.....Jackson is just sick! That was unbelievable.

@ Ohio State, @ Va Tech, @ UL, @ WVU, Rutgers at home. I don't think it, I know it. Thanks for playing...

UK:

@ Florida

@ Louisville

@LSU

@ Tenn

Cincy:

@Louisville

@West Virginia

@Ohio State

@ Virginia Tech

Pretty close but I give the edge to Cincy, they also had a tougher home schedule as well.

Top RB SUSPENDED. You keep acting like he was hurt or out for natural reasons. Although I guess suspension is a normal excuse for a SEC "power"...

Both teams had very tough schedules, but looking at those, UK has to have the edge. The UofL game is a wash for each. @UF was obviously a tougher game than @tO$U, and @LSU was tougher than @WV. @VaTech was probably tougher than @UT....

Rutgers------------------------South Carolina

South Florida------------------Georgia

Pittsburgh---------------------Vanderbilt

@UConn-----------------------Central Mich

Syracuse----------------------Mississippi

Miami Oh-----------------------@Miss St

Akron--------------------------Lou Monroe

EKU----------------------------Texas San Marcos

That isn't far off by any means.

Both played extremely tough schedules, I'd personally give UK a slight edge, but could definitely see the arguement either way.

What did Florida do to Ohio State again???

Va Tech was horrible for half the year.

UK played UL, so strike that one...

UF 3 TD's better than OSU

LSU better than WVU...

So you are left with Va Tech on the UC side vs. Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, and the rest of the SEC...

You football newbies are so cute...:laugh: :jump:

It's debatable both ways, but I don't think there's any debate that Cincy had a tougher home schedule giving them the advantage overall.
