August 24, 200719 yr I saw this on espn a few minutes ago and didn't hear all of it (report) . I hope that they now take it to trial burn him not only on the Dog fighting charges and add in the racketeering, tax evasion, pergery or anything else they can think of . A couple of days ago he says that he will take a plea and now he is innocent or will not plead guilty, what a joke. I sincerly hope that it "bites" him in the buttox. I think that it will, as I and others have said - the Feds do not go after anyone that they do not have all of the goods on to start with, I believe their pct. of convictions was something like 85-95%. .......................... Instead, the one count of conspiracy that Vick will plead to will admit guilt to the charge of interstate commerce for the purpose of dogfighting. Vick will admit that he was present when dogs were killed, but will maintain that he did not personally kill any of the dogs. The allegations of killing dogs and gambling were part of the picture painted by Vick's three co-defendants, all of whom have pleaded guilty.

August 24, 200719 yr As I have said before, the U.S. Government does not seek a federal indictment unless they have an unlosable case...airtight. You never hear of people going to trial in federal court and winning. When they handed down a federal indictment against Vick, his fate was already sealed. And that's why his co-conspirators have been quick to flip. They realize this too.
August 24, 200719 yr If he refuses to plead guilty to those charges, I would take him to trial, and put him away for a long time. What a loser....
