Flag Football

Featured Replies

It has came that time of year when college has started back and it is time for old wash ups like me to relive my passion FOOTBALL!!!!!!!! Who all is playing at their respected Universities and what is your favorite play. In my league last year the any play with a slant and flag would just confuse the heck out of the defense. :thumb:

^ We don't have flag football at Morehead State University!

Man I would be working on that if I was you it is alot of fun. Do they just not allow it?

My freshman year we ran a lot of option and option pass, took it all the way to the championship game and lost 7-6

I wanted to try the option last year but my teamates thought I was stupid so maybe this year.

I have a love/hate relationship with flag football. All you need is a quick quarterback with some wheels and a defense that will stop one or two drives and you're golden. The whole having lineman thing is dumb.

You just have to have weapons to use, cant just throw anyone in there. We had 2 fast wide outs a former option QB in HS who was pretty good and me running TB and I was a freshman so I was still in HS shape, not so much anymore though

I think I had better stick with the slant routes then lol

Someone at MSU needs to get the game started. Maybe get the powder puff game first. Would be something to do ,for all those studing hard, for a little relaxation.

I'll be playing at NKU when it starts up.

I'm not trying to draw a "Rocket Rant" here but if you had those weapons how did you score a single TD in the title game?

My son plays at UE.

I played when I was at UK. Loved it! Only one person on our team had ever even played football. Then he got in a fight with the ref and was thrown out of our first game and banned for the season. Most of my teammates were people I went to high school with, and our high school did not have a football team (at the time). Needless to say, we weren't very good.....but we had a lot of fun.

I liked hiking the ball and blocking for the QB. In about our 3rd or 4th game, we had a new guy join the team. He had never played either, but insisted on being allowed to QB. We had to terminate that idea after he tried to go under center on me 3 times.

It is hard to have a fair game because the ref is always a friend of someone else on the other team. I got tripped by one last year and the only the only thing that saved him was I thought to myself I would like to work in a prison one day and not locked up in one.

Other team was prop 41 players:irked:
