Bethlehem is going to be better than expected but is playing a very tough schedule for a team with 270 students and only returning 4 or 5 starters. Here is my take.

Garrad County L

Corbin L

KCD W

Caverna W

Holy Cross L

Washington Co W

Beth Haven W

Bardstown L

Fort Knox W

 

If Coach Torzenski pulls this off he is a genius. Look for Bethlehem to be strong the following two years.

 

I think Bethlehem will be at least a 2 TD underdog to Washington County.

Hearsay after watching them scrimmage Eastern, I don't know if they could beat anyone right now. The team is still trying to figure positons with the lost of Jamark McCloud. But they will beat both of them, played Nelson twice last year with a team not really that good. This year's team is loaded with speed, will be hard for Nelson to keep up. Bardstown is loaded with seniors but has not played teams like John with lots of ath.

The loss of McCloud is such a tragedy, both personal and for the JH team. He was an impact player. If there is a silver lining, it might be that the loss motivates JH to greater heights.

 

I think JH will beat Bardstown, but I predict a Nelson County upset.

HEARSAY, this is the first that I have read concerninig Eastern or Seneca Scrimmages. I will assume that you saw the JH/ Eastern scrimmage. Does Eastern have the talent to have a successful season? What are some strengths/weaknesses? I believe that they scrimmage Nelson Co. on 8/16 at Nelson. That would make Eastern a common opponent to guage JH and Nelson by. Has anyone seen Seneca?

Could be the first victory over the Blue Colonels in quite a while. Of these, I would look at Beechwood as the most difficult victory. I also doubt that they could win ALL of these games.

Your right they may not win any of these, but that is very unlikely that they will lose all 4.

I seriously doubt this year's Dunbar and Bryan Station teams having that bad of a year.

 

Right now, I think Dunbar could go anywhere between 9-1 and 6-4. I don't think they'll win less than 6. Beware of the new starter at QB also. Super athlete!

 

Dunbar has all of the makings to be a good team. Not great but good, 6-4 is a definite possibility. Jerrell has to stay healthy this year, if he gets injured Dunbar run heavy offense will be in trouble.Bryan Station always has more talent than anyone in Lexington but their schedule is rugged this year.

In my opinion Station has Five toss-up games that will define their season: Western, Woodford, Montgomery, Ashland and Creek. They have been losing for so long I just don't know if they can pull through.

I (sort of) agree with Bright Horizons that Bryan Station could surprise some folks and have a nice year in '07. I think they'll finish well north of 3 - 7.

I PREDICT Mayfield will go 9-1......their only loss will be to Marshall Co. As for the playoffs, i refuse to go there right now. That pot has already been stirred enough.

I think the Birds will go 15-0. They will have some tough games, including but not limited to Dixie and Trotwood, but I've never entered into a game thinking Highlands was going to lose and I'm not going to start now.:ylsuper:

Will CovCath have a winning season? My guess is that CovCath will have a losing season, due to their schedule. I could see a losing season, not because they are bad, but because of the quality of the teams from top to bottom that they are playing this year....

Beechwood Win.....Upset.....First night game ever at CovCath, Coach Brossart first game against his old High School, Senior night, and 40th year for Football at CovCath.... It will be a very emotional game for the Colonels.

That's only 4 wins and 6 losses, but they make the playoffs and upset Dixie, then lose to HHS at HHS.....
