When has any NFL team played their starters more than a half in their first preseason game? :confused: I'd be shocked if the starters played more than 2 series.

Carson and co won't even play 2 series. I just want to see the D play I bet they play a good portion of the first half.

I'm going to have to disagree. There are so many questions about the backups, I think the starters only play the first 2 series too. Maybe three depending on how long Detroit's drives are.

Our young corners will be in there a good time. Brooks has to at least play the whole first half. They need to see where they stand with him and how he reacts to in game performance. Starting D will play the whole 1st quarter and them some in the second IMO.

Can't argue that as our young corners aren't starters. (outside of Joseph who's not playing)

IMO, not going to happen. They had him slated as the #1 prior to training camp. Behind him, they don't have anyone who's a true middle linebacker, outside of possibly Hartwell. They will not risk playing him the entire first half in the first preseason game IMO.
