No. That was Ryan Morris. He was a Senior last year and is no longer the QB. That duty falls to Sr. John Hurley.

 

First off, glad to be back. Guru had me locked up in the closet for a bit on some misbehavior but I've learned my lesson. Bottom-line: This isn't Yappi! :sssh:

 

If anyone has any specific questions regarding St. Xavier, let me know. I know them pretty well and am particularly interested in them this year as they are getting LOADS OF PRESEASON HYPE and the team that man-handled them last year in the Regional final (my Cards ) are flying so far under the radar, it's almost sonar! :laugh:

 

The bottom-line is that Trinity better have a real good intermediate passing game and a real good D-line because the Rocks are NOT going to run successfully on this defense and their only hope on defense is to pressure Hurley (who's not real mobile) and force him to make mistakes.

 

Other than that, should be a good, hard fought game. I think the Bombers come out on top somewhere in the 7-10 point range.

 

Also, no way St. Xavier loses before their matchup with the Rocks. They will absolutely destroy Winton Woods in week 1, Glenville in week 3 and SHOULD handle DeMatha (ranked #4 in the Nation according to the National Prep Poll) given X's huge homefield advantage.

I am a fair and honest judge...and with that...we actually have both of the above......our defense will be real nasty....and our passing game should be just fine, on any level of depth.

What does Clarett have to do with the 263? Nothing.

Nothing except the the pregame hype was that Clarett was going to run all over Elder. There was a better back playing for Elder and he put up 263 yards.
