GAH. strike-3 was on at 8:17 tonight, I sent him a PM around 1 today and told him he was up. Check your PM's and check the draft, no reason to hold it up when you could make your pick while your online.

Calm down a bit. I was working away from a computer today from about 10:45 til I got home around 7:00. I got on early to see if I was on the clock so I would know whether I needed to get back online tonight and make a pick. I think you will find that I have made all of my picks in a reasonable amount of time with the exception of last week when my laptop crashed and I had to ship it off for repair. I'm capable of figuring out that it is my turn to draft. I'm sorry I have other things to do rather than sit here and wait for my turn to draft.

Good value pick;.

Thanks. I think he could be pretty good if they ever figure out the QB problem in Miami. Probably a better option than any of the RB left, although I will need another at some point.

I was considering taking him also.

I considered him earlier but went with Cotchery as I feel the Jets offense will be better with a settled QB slot, better running game with Jones and a good receiver opposite him to avoid being doubled all the time...plus, if the defense stays about the same as last year, they will be needing to score some points to win.

You'd think it was 5 or 6 days (instead of weeks) before kickoff...

I wish!

I wish!

At least it would make the impatience about the draft more understandable...

BTW, Frank Gore broke his hand and might miss the preseason. It's on espn.com if anyone wants to read about it.

Doesn't sound like a huge deal, but...

It's exactly the type of thing that scares me about Gore. It's minor, but he just strikes me as injury prone. The league I draft fourth in I'm AGONIZING over who to pick. I expect LT, SJax, and LJ to all be gone at that point, and consensus has Gore next.

I've been away from the computer and haven't had a chance to look over my possible picks. It will be after 3 p.m. before I get a chance to do anything, so please be patient.

Thx.

You are in the wrong place to be asking for patience...

I just use the cheatsheets as a guide and glean info from them on which I base my picks. I've been consulting 5 or 6 different sites for info and many of them are WAY different on some players. Some of my picks might be seen as a reach, but I went with what I felt at the time and really have no big regrets so far. Would have liked to have had a more favorable draft position because I hate having a wait between all of my picks. I always prefer to be at the beginning or the end of these type of drafts.

I'd draft Joseph Addai with the 4th pick...
