Doesn't make his efforts for poor people any worse. I agree with Jim, being a musician doesn't necessarily qualify you to be a politician, but it also doesn't automatically disqualify you.

Isn't that what you conservative-types always say? That you'd be more willing to engage in personal philanthropy for the poor if the government weren't taxing you to death to prop up a welfare state?
