It's football season now, everything else is on the back burner. I'm here for ya.:thumb:

I can smell football in the air. First day of practice is when you know it won't be long until kick off. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year.

Here is an article about the beginning of practice for teams in North-Eastern Kentucky.

:thumb: Right with you on this one Ram, except that smell in the air may not be football.

It is a wonderful time of the year when all teams have visions of dancing on the carpet at the Big Pizza Box in the 'Ville in December. Good luck to all the teams throughout the state this season.

Mayfield starts practice Tuesday morning at 8am

I heard Hoof screaming this morning, it might be that he did not brush his teeth this morning.

If you heard Hoof screaming, then it is officially the start of football season.:D

Glad to hear that all is right in Ramblerville, Ky. :D

I think Frankfort had like 40 players show out...I'm still finding that hard to believe going to frankfort high...

I got a question. Why does the KHSAA only allow such a short time for HS football teams in KY to practice? They get 1 week in spring, not sure what good that is for and then they get to practice as a team for about a month before the season starts. I know that baseball and basketball teams are getting to play year round now. I understand that year round football would be bad on kids but I would think they would allow teams to practice a little longer than they currently are. Any ideas?
