August 8, 200719 yr The Reds today claimed off waivers from the Seattle Mariners OF Jason Ellison...San Francisco’s 22nd-round draft pick in 2000, Ellison was traded to Seattle on April 1 in exchange for LHP Travis Blackley...he has spent the season with the Mariners (63g, .283)...a corresponding roster move will be announced when he reports to the team...he is expected to arrive tomorrow...he will wear uniform number 16.
