July 1, 200719 yr I really enjoyed the show, it got very in depth. It did show what kind of principles the man has and a lot about how and where he got his work eithic:thumb: . I loved his mother, that lady was a pistol
July 1, 200719 yr ^ HAHA. I think the real fans will be a little bit easier on Billy G because of the hard work he has put forth thus far. It's up to the players to produce now. The type of work ethic he displays can be contagious so I think he will have the players showing the same attitude. Like I stated before, it is easy to pull for a guy that works as hard as he does.
July 1, 200719 yr I was in a restaurant in Lexington when A & M beat UL this year and some AM fans came in and toasted the "greatest coach in America." I hadn't followed him and didn't know who he was but they sure liked him. I remember losing Pitino so I didn't laugh later but it was ironic that he won in Rupp and they toasted him in Lexington and a month later he's back as our coach and will be coaching in the arena those fans had just left. Anyway, irony aside, those fans LOVED him and I have this sense that UK fans are going to be as satisfied as we can possibly be.

And please don't get me wrong I am a Eastern Kentucky native, so I guess that gives me freedom to say that.

Didn't someone on BGP say he was the perfect guy for the job the day Tubby left???
July 1, 200719 yr Didn't someone on BGP say he was the perfect guy for the job the day Tubby left??? I have said it before: You are better than the newspaper!!!!
July 1, 200719 yr I have said it before: You are better than the newspaper!!!! I've been working hard at that for a while now. Thanks...
July 1, 200719 yr I have said it before: You are better than the newspaper!!!! Nah, GT sucks, don't listen to him. But no in all honesty I always give GT alot of cred, he is reliably a 90% of the time guy. He hits right 90% of the time, but when he misses (rare) he misses big. But hey we're all human. Nuttin' but love GT. :thumb:
July 1, 200719 yr I'll leave it at this so you guys can get back to the BCG love. As you get more connected, it's a lot easier to be right...

July 1, 200719 yr Truer words have never been spoken. That press pass goes a long way. Much like following Mick and BCG on the recruiting trail, it goes a lot deeper these days. But the press pass doesn't hurt...
July 1, 200719 yr Much like following Mick and BCG on the recruiting trail, it goes a lot deeper these days. But the press pass doesn't hurt... Let me rephrase then, by press pass, I meant more like privlege pass. Thus, more privleged than other in the PR. V.I.P. so-to-speak. I thought my career was going to shape up to be that of a dream, but you definately have me beat.
July 1, 200719 yr Nice call on BCG, GT. But in all fairness the UK faithful was too busy drooling over Billy D to look at anyone else. You being a general tri state sports fan ate this one up...
July 1, 200719 yr Here's a link to view the show in case anyone missed it tonight. http://ukathletics.com/200706-meetgillispie.html#
