Yep, sure did and much like the baseball team, no one really cared. :lol: Some Bucs fans, but not too many, leave their seats in protest One of baseball's time-honored traditions is the seventh inning stretch and the singing of "Take me out to the ballgame." But last night at PNC Park, some paying customers left their seats innings earlier, a disgruntled way of saying, "Take me out of the ballgame." An estimated 1,000 fans answered the call. Several hundred left after the second inning when the Pirates scored six runs, but the majority made for the concourses after the third inning as planned. July 1, 200719 yr ^Pathetic. They can't even get a protest to go correctly. They need to go on out to California and take protesting lessons. Those people know how to protest.
July 1, 200719 yr I bet the owner's were laughing saying " Those idiots paid money just to walk out on us, HAHAHA, maybe they'll buy a drink on the way out" The "walk-out" was horrible. Only about 150 fans actually left and most returned to their seats later in the game.
July 1, 200719 yr Things will never change in the small markets until there is some sort of salary cap. Kinda like the NFL, teams can go from 6-10 to 10-6.
