Let's go Trystan!

Probably the worst outing of Trystan's UofL career.

I couldn't even bear to follow the stats on that one.

Hey look Louisville brought the Reds bullpen to Omaha with them.

Is this the worst their pen has been all year?

I'm calling for a 15-12 finish.

You were close and go the 15 right.

The only guy that matters thought he did.

He didn't lean into that pitch a single inch! :irked:

The batter has to make an attempt to get out of the way, he did not make that attempt. There were a couple more very early in this game that the U.L. batters did not make an attempt to get out of the way. That one was a good call. The early ones that was one that the batter definately leaned into the pitch and another where when looking like he was turning to get out of the way, the batter stuck his arm out and got hit. All of these were not very hard / fast pitches and the batter had ample time to get out of the way. Three of them were obvious and only one of the three were called correctly. U.L. got the break on two of them.

I don't think that the pitching was that bad. Rice was overdue offensively and the 8th inning just happened to be the one that they got things going.

Trought the years I have learned to never count out a Wayne Graham coached team.

Well, I don't think so. Besides, my comments were directed at just this one mistaken call. But it didn't matter in the end. The Cards' bats went silent after the 5th. Hopefully, they can rebound in game two! :thumb:

This is a double elimination tournament, if U.L. can regroup they still have a chance to come back.

:thumb: :thumb: Grahm may not be in a class by himself but it sure doesn't take long to call the roll. ;)
