Who hit the Dinger....and to which field?

 

Braylen Chandler to dead left.....after his triple on his previous at bat.

Ryle bats were alive both nights. There were some real shots in the gaps and the outs were long outs.Hatfield kept it close thru 5 and then Weiss and Collins each got an inning of work to close it out.

Garret Wagner got the MVP award. Stroked the ball well both nights and must have scored six or seven of the Ryle runs.

Congrats to Coach Roesel and staff. Their hard work and the players hard work have paid dividends. Good luck @ State.

Come down and watch on Wednesday evening and make some noise.

Errors were not the real story of the night as Somerset probably made 3 and Ryle made 2. Ryle absolutely pounded shot after shot all night with a dinger and probably 7-8 other extra base hits. Even a lot of the outs were shots right at people. I would guess that Ryle had 16 hits, maybe a season high. Congrats to Somerset on a very good season.

 

Without a doubt the Raiders came out swinging again tonight. From memory,

every Raider got at least one hit tonight and many extra base hits. So proud of these young men, they just want to keep playing.

 

Congrats to Garrett Wagner, semi state tourney MVP.

 

And Braylen....whatever you had for dinner tonight, please have another serving on Wednesday. LOL

Congrats to the Raiders. Wow what a year for both them and their softball team. No matter what happens in this next game, Ryle has done NKY proud this season and given us something to cheer about.

Interesting. I wouldn't say that either one of these schools has played a particularly tough schedule this year. Looks like they meet tonight in the rubber match of their series to see who will face Ryle.

I hope the next round brings some more excitement and better competition for the Raiders.
