He also has less than 10 errors for the season. Any college team that lands him will get a real winner.

ERLANGER – — Fresh off of a 13-3 victory over Somerset in game one of the Semi State 5 Baseball Playoffs on Wednesday, the 33-6 Ryle Raiders were at it again last night at St. Henry District High School.

 

The Raiders, fresh off of their first 9th Regional championship in school history last week, made very short work of the Briar Jumpers Thursday night on their way to gaining a berth in next week’s Elite Eight from Applebee’s Park in Lexington.

 

Pat Roesel’s club banged out 15 base hits, with eight of those going for extra bases, and scored 13 runs for the second consecutive night, on its way to sweeping this best of three game series with back to back wins over Somerset, posting a 13-6 victory over Phil Grundy’s club on Thursday night, ending the Briar Jumpers 2007 season with a 23-11 record.

 

“I’m proud of our guys for the way we competed tonight, but it’s always disappointing when you lose,” noted Grundy after seeing his team’s season end last night.

 

“There always just one team that’s happy at the conclusion of the year, and it’s a situation where we hate to see our season end here,” continued the SHS coach. “Ryle played super and their pitchers made the pitches. The only thing I am disappointed in is that I don’t feel we played as well up here as we had over the past two months.”

WOW Deep Voice, you are pretty close. Gwags has had 123 at bats with 11 K's, 32 BB's / HP, and a .493 combined ave (.583 post season). His combined 0n base % is .721. As of now he has 2 errors. If that's not good enough for the next level, it looks like me and Gwags will be playing a lot of golf. LOL
