BTW, I talked to Coach Brooks and Joker Phillips last night. They are in Paintsville for K-Day this weekend and all the guys are having a blast. Coach Brooks is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Same goes for Joker. :thumb:

Thats how it works.....Everything is fine with UK basketball now, Have to find something to pick on UK about, Just so happens, It's a man that has answered every question ask about his team, He has backed his teams, and shoots it strait, Someone was talkin about his overall record since he's been at UK, Whos Cares.......The man just took UK to a bowl game and Won, When was the last time that happened, I praise the man for what he had to deal with at UK to this date, And I like the Direction Grandpa has my favorite team going.

 

Last season was successful, but its Rich Brooks telling the fans to get a life. Well I'm a fan of The Big Blue and I was a fan during the 2-9 or 3-8 years. I also want to bask in the glory of an 8-5 season. What I don't want to hear is the head coach of my favorite team telling fans like me to get a life. Personally I thought the goal of any head coach (besides winning) is to get his team as much exposure as possible. I will probably be at the game, so the TV doesn't matter to me. There are a lot of people that can't be there and would love to see the game. Only thing I can say to them is at least you have Tom Leach. You may not see the game but he'll make you think you're there!!

Actually, his dismal 106-141 career record is what makes him a loser. The fact that he's unwilling to showcase the fruits of his labor on national TV only cements the fact. The only reason he's got a job in the first place is because of cronyism.

What's this directional school stuff? UK would have to drop out of the SEC and add 4 or 5 directional schools to get its schedule down to U of L's level.

If the Louisville game didn't matter to him why did he lobby so hard to get it moved?

You guys can be upset with our coach all you want, I like most of the things he has done here.
