Well, just recieved word that Kevin's brother (Andy Listerman) has accepted a teaching position at Elder High School in Cincinnati. Andy Listerman has been the Athletic Director at Lexington Catholic the last couple of years. He has been teaching at LexCath for the last 4-5 years. I for one am glad to see Andy (and family) moving north, closer to home.:thumb: :dancingpa

For what it's worth, I think Andy was actually the assistant AD at LexCath; but still an interesting move, unless he just wanted to get back to the Greater Cincy area??

Sorry I checked and he is/was the AD!!

I hear that Buddy will continue to teach in the Boone Co school district. This may seem odd to some but I believe Buddy is doing this for a specific reason.

Where exactly in the Boone County school district does Buddy teach? Which school?

What reason are you alluding to?

^^Per a BC student, he hasn't taught at Boone, at least in the last two years.

This is another interesting move by the Listermans. This isn't even a lateral move to Elder. AD at one of the best HS in the state leaving to become a teacher??? WHAT?

Is he trying to become the next AD at Elder? Then from there maybe he'll hire his dad or brother as the next BBALL coach at Elder. I can see it already.

Kevin making Elder his 6th new job in his last 6 years.

Next to the word "nomad" in the Websters there is a picture of Kevin Listerman.

I beleive this to be the eventual goal. He and his family wanted be closer to home as well.

Does he teach anywhere? If not, does anyone care to explain how he's more qualified than Maile, or even Shrand for that matter.

He doesn't have to explain, this is entirely Mike Listerman's call as far as I can tell; and he simply doesn't want those two back. If you ask players/parents close to the situation, the only explanation given is that he views their opinions and insights as not loyal to him...ie totally agree with him or go away...which doesn't imo bode well if the kids and the program are truly your first priority? I think it's simply about him.

Justletmplay is very accurate, in fact surprisingly accurate. IMO he isn't as qualified, but nevertheless I wish him the best of luck.
