9th Region Draw

What can change from game to game - the makeup of the roster or the number you can have on the roster?

You have a limit as to how many players can be on the roster for a game. So, if you need more hitting than pitching today, you drop a pitcher and bring up a hitter. The opposite could be true tomorrow.

And is that limit 21? 21 throughout entire season or does it change for district/regionals/sectionals/state?

I believe the limit is only for the tourney.

The names, you could 24 players during the season and then, rotate down to 21 per game.

I am looking as a prediction as a Ryle/Highlands final with Ryle getting the regional crown. Good luck to all especially those Wildcats who pulled off the biggest district upset of the tourney.

Interesting pick in Highlands. If they pitch Allen the first game, I'm not sure if the 2nd pitcher, while talented, can keep CCH off the bases enough for HHS to win (should CCH advance past Boone).

What about Mitch Shover? Won't he be dressed for the tourney? I know they have brought him in for Tyler Holocher to hit before and has worked out well for them. He's part of that sophmore class that IMO should be playing varsity now but apparently being overlooked for some reason.

Is this the kid who plays basketball for CCH? Heard he had strong JV season and if given a chance should be a contender for SS or 2nd. Has he gotten any bigger?
