The top 3 from last season combined are lagging behind last year's 4th place in sales right now. Sometimes, the best singer doesn't actually win. I agree that Lakisha, Melinda & Jordin are better singers than last year's winner.

May 3, 200719 yr Well I can't speak for everyone and this really is a horrible reason (at least I admit to it up front) but for me it has nothing to do with her singing, because she can really sing, it's just that her "no neck" bothers me greatly. See, I told you that it's a petty reason, but at least I'm honest. I agree the no-neck is the first thing you notice about her. The surprised look also is getting to be old hat but her singing makes you forget all that. I think she will win or be 2nd.

May 3, 200719 yr I think it will be Chris and Lakesha (sp?) Don't be suprised if it is Phil. Phil is my favorite but he doesn't have a huge DEDICATED fanbase.
May 4, 200719 yr I'm not watching this show any more. I watched the tape from last night and Phil was one of the better ones. It's ok Phil; us mountain kids always get the shaft, haha. He shouldnt have won it, but definitley shouldn't have gone home. Weird thing is, last week and this week was together. He had a solid performance last night and was top vote getter last week. That doesn't make sense. What makes you think he was the leading vote getter last week? That information wasn't released. He did have a solid performance last night, but he'd been dancing with the devil for about six weeks.
