You almost had it right but the first batter Nutini faced lined a single to right center to score the fourth run. Camels had a chance to add to it with two hard hit singles in the sixth with only one out but failed to score. When the Camels play good defense they are a very good team. Jordan Woodruff pitched another gem tonight.

Sorry about the mix up on innings and the hit off Nutini but it had been a long day by the time I got home. I hadn't heard about the time change to 7pm (why) and arrived at 4:30pm for the 5pm game.

After writing about the game, I took a shower and hit the bed hard, this oldguy was still feeling the effects of a long weekend at Murray State for summer orientation for my daughter....

This may not be directly tied but I know the 10th and 9th regions played in the semistate last year. Do you or anybody know if it is the same way this year or if it's different?

You posted the All "A" Classic pairings. The earlier poster posted pairing for the state tournament in May.

Congrats to the Camels on a nice win.

Thanks, thought the discussion was on the All "A".....:thumb:

GRC is still in my opinion the team to beat in the 10th. They are 15-1 presently. The Camels should have a better idea where they stand in the 10th following Saturday's game at GRC. If the Camels play good defense they are a very solid team. Three good starting pitchers and a fairly decent hitting team.

The Camels have to play more consistent defense. The have good pitching, and good hitting. They have given up to many unearned runs. They can, and I'm sure they will get this fixed. Go Camels :thumb:

Campbell is a solid team. And today proved they might be one of the top teams in NKY. This is a CCH Campbell thread though so I'm not going to get in to the GRC CC-who's better debate.

CCHS might not even get out of their district...

I'll assume CCHS is Campbell and not CCH.

Correct, CCH will win the 9th... IMO.

Wow kind of surprised by this score. Great win for the Camels. They look to be the favorite in the 10th.

Covcath will rebound. Playing 9 games in a week is tough.

Why would you say that? campbell is good but so are a handful of other teams in their region not to mention their district.

They might not make it out of districts, but if they do the 10th region tourney is always a dog fight.

Camels may not make it out of district, but there are other teams that may not either, in the Scott game the Camels did about ever thing possible wrong, and Scott had good pitching that night and timely hitting. Scott played very well that night, but I don't think they are 16 runs better than the Camels. In the Brossart game,Brossart took a 5-3 win, again 4 of the 5 were unearned. So I suppose that you should belive that the Camels may not make it out of the district, but I think on any given night any of the three could take a win
