April 20, 200719 yr I think my post should have included "at this time" meaning right before the draft. The actually admission occurred back in Februrary.....Someone leaked the info to the media today....So it wasn't done right before the draft.
April 20, 200719 yr Well you would like to think that most college players don't do this, but who knows who all is smoking pot. I am not going to criticize a kid for messing up and then admitting it. But if they don't pass a drug test or get caught again, the league needs to consider seriou ramifications for it.

April 20, 200719 yr Every person walking this earth has done something they arent proud of, these men are no different. No one is perfect. Not a big deal at all to me and as a coach or GM it would have no affect what so ever on my decision to draft one of them.

April 20, 200719 yr Also, they smoked a joint, they didnt murder anyone. Yes I understand its illegal but speeding and jay walking are also illegal. I dont think any of these kids had other off the field issues. Pretty insignificant if you ask me.
