But might help those other sports that don't rely on quantity of players but quality of players.

I don't think you should insinuate that we succeed mainly because we rely on quantity not quality. That devalues the 12 months of hard work, and the fact that kids grow up their whole lives longing to be a Rock or Tiger.....

^ They could still go to X or T but would have to sit out some time during their Freshman year.

Well if the area or "feeder" schools are considered the Archdiocese of Louisville, southern Indiana is in that area.

I was not devaluing the program but looking at the nature of the sports. Obviously in football you need more than 3 quality players. Golf, you have 3 excellent players and 2 decent players and you can make state.

You have 3 excellent players and only 2 decent players in football and I don't think you are making state.

My school made state recently with a rotation in basketball of 7 players. That was basically all that played. Not going to happen in football with only 7 players.

That was my point, nothing to do with any programs.

Sorry RP, but Southern Indiana has its own Diocese and has no middle schools (at this time) in the Louisville diocese.

^ Doesn't really bother me...we may have 2-3 kids at any time from Southern Indiana, and most of those boys grow up wanting to play here....all they would have to do is go to grade school over here, not that big of a deal either.
