This is nothing new they have done this for the past 4 or 5 years... Spritzky and Stellman are good friends ...

 

Now that Trosper is at Conner the scrimmages might go away next year.

It might not , Dixie is 5A now and Conner is 6A .

With only 4 district games now, I hope they can add in some down state teams, or teams across the river in 2008.

I agree. I know Dixie didn't too well last time they played Elder, but I'd like to see them matchup up against one GCL team a year.

The 2007 schedule was probably too last minute to venture out of the norm for scheduling. A GCL team would be great, and I wouldn't mind it being an Elder, Moeller, or St. X.

I agree. I think it was always said they played Highlands, Cov. Cath and Beechwood and others to prepare themselves for their district. I now think they need to play a few bigger powers to prepare them to compete with Highlands. I would like to see them play Lousiville teams

I think that would be great to play one or two L-ville teams . I'd love to see the Rocks come up here and play !:thumb:

Because if Dixie wins everyone says it is because they should beat a small school and if they lose everyone predicts they will be lucky to win a game all year. If NCC loses everyone says it is because Dixie is three times the size and if NCC wins everyone says starts engraving another state trophy.

 

All that for a preseason scrimmage where some starters play a half and some play maybe 3 quarters.
