April 1, 200719 yr The CJ reported that Micah Johnson is now 6'2" and 270#. Brooks says he will still play at MLB. He was a liability on the field last year at 20# less. What is Brooks thinking, put the kid's hand on the ground and get it over with. He will not be able to play LB in the SEC at 270#.

April 1, 200719 yr I agree in that Micah Johnson needs to go ahead and make the move to DE, thats where the team needs him most and he could become a force there for the Cats...Braxton Kelly still has 2 years left at MLB and #4 and #56 both need to be on the field for the Cats D.
April 2, 200719 yr Micah could not play anymore because of an injury to his back. I read where coach Brooks said that he will still be on scholarship so he could get his degree. That was in the Paducah Sun. Does anyone know if he quit school or not? I would hope that he would be allowed to earn a degree on scholarship after being injured playing a sport for the university.
April 2, 200719 yr Leger probably didn't practice because he had surgery during the off season on his shoulder. I'd say he'll be ready for the season though...
