From Perry Stevenson's mouth, UK "already has a coach and will announce him on Tuesday".

Do you have a link to this ? Or just a personal source ?

He told me today in class.

I don't suppose you asked a follow-up question...did you?

Thats interesting. Wouldnt tell you who it was ?

Unless I see a link, I'm not believing anything anymore. No offense colfan.

He actually told me that the coach was NOT in the final four. However, he likes to kid around a lot and it wouldn't make sense for UK to wait until after the final four to name a coach that has already been knocked out. If the coach is available, it would make sense to me that we would just announce him as quick as possible to sign as many recruits as we can.

I think he was pulling you leg, Colfan.

He is actually a pretty good friend, and you may be right that he was pulling my leg about the non-final four coach, but the rest of the story I can assure is true.

It just makes sense to me that if it wasn't Matta, Donovan, Howland, or Thompson III, that we would have already announced the coach instead of waiting for the final four to be over.

I wouldn't be surprised if UK did announce a coach on Tuesday, though.

There are also rumors that the Lexington fire marshall is stationing guys at the Joe B. Craft Center for a press conference on Tuesday, although that is just a rumor and I am by no means confirming that. But if so, it all adds up.

If a coach has been hired I'm pretty sure that only Mitch and Todd and maybe a few others probably know about it. Too risky to leak out with many other people knowing!
