With the unbelievable season the Scott Co. Cardinals just completed it lends the question, how many teams can compare to the dominance of this team?

 

Accomplishments:

 

-State Champions

-Undefeated against in state competition

-Defeated #1 team in nation

No other team has accomplished what they have in a season probably ever. It is an amazing accomplishment. Are they the best team ever in the state of Kentucky? Well thats very hard to say, but their accomplishments are pretty amazing.

I do not think they are the best ever but they are very talented at all spots. I am trying to compare them to other good team that played the type of schedule they did. Of Scott co teams I think the team Ballard beat in 99 had more talent.

Dont get me wrong here, Scott county is good, I was at the state tourney and I was setting by a person that played ball here in ky and won the state tourney on the 50's and he was a all american at Kentucky( I wont release his name). I was asking him about . His team compaired to todays and He said todays teams dont know what DEFENSE is. Its all offence. He said there team would beat scott county with ease. just a little info ...

I don't think Adam Chiles started for the 1999 Ballard team ... he came off the bench. Spencer Graeter was the starter.

I remember that name - Spencer Graeter - now that you mention it. Does that mean that Chiles was the 6th man? That was a talented team they had in 99.

If I remember correctly, Partin and Graeter were seniors and starters. Chiles, then a sophomore, was the first guard off the bench.

Alsop is one of my all-time favorites, but Chiles was a stud...

I dont see it. I thought the Ballard vs. Scott County game was a defensive game.

Almost comical with all due to respect to this mystery man, but the athleticism of back then couldn't begin to compare that of today.
