That is correct. It's not a for sure thing yet though. I think they are cousins or former stand out Greg Rice. IF they do transfer, both will make an impact and make Holmes one of the heavy favorites, joining Henderson, Nelson, Avery , and Clark.

Its actually just the opposite for Holmes... Very talented kids are constantly leaving the district after elementery.....some say its because of the issues at Two Rivers. If they can just keep the talent in the district, they will always be on top of the 9th Region.

Exactly. Here are just a few names who have left Holmes after Middle school or during high school career.

 

07 Class-

Mike Hester- Starting Point Guard SK

Charles Johnson- Leading Receiver in football and basketball player for Lloyd

Nate Edmondson- Top 10 player in NKY for Gallatin Co

Ryan Luster- Another top player for the Ryle football team. Would have been a lot better at basketball had he practiced and stayed at Holmes

 

If you add those 4 to the Holmes group from this past year....Wow. But things happen so we can't think of what could have been.

Reason for transferring?

They are brothers and he played 6th and 7th grade ball at Two Rivers before going over to Taft. The better brother started most games at Taft but is probably not one of the best soph. to be's in state, but is a heck of a player. Plays AAU for a KY team as he always did.
