Two big pro-football players getting into a words war and then into an altercation in Vegas?? Not to much of a strech if you ask me. Happens on the field all the time and if these two guys couldn't control themselfs then they should have left or been asked to leave. I don't think either are blameless and sure what JP did was way out of line. None of us know what was said by the other. Charles Barkley has been into it several times because someone was running their mouth about something. At least JP didn't hit someone that wasn't near his size. Fist fights happen all the time and if you don't think it does then stay in the bubble your in because it does. I'm not justifing actions by either one but Jones may not have fought back because of all the bad pub. it might have brought onto him and his team. JP will get his back (on the field) I'm sure.

Dave Lapham reported on the radio today that a friend of his was there and saw it, and it all started with Porter and his entourage approaching Levi with Porter saying something along the lines of "I heard you been bad-mouthing me". Seconds later, Levi had Porter on the ground, was eventually pulled off of him, and then it was supposedly over.

Then Porter and his crew approached him later, with this time Porter knocking Levi down, and then "kicking him in the head".

I don't think I've witnessed a fist fight (outside of the movies) since I got out of the Marines, and that was 26 years ago. The ones I have seen in the past almost always involved alcohol.

Apparently he (mouth) talked into his way into Levi holding him down on the ground (domination) and Levi's cooler head prevailing. Then when Jones let him up Porter hit him (sucker punch anyone???). Then it's being reported Porter's boys robbed Jones. A lot of speculation at this point, but goodness...... Where was Pac Man Jones? Wonder how much HGH Porter needs to whip Levi one-on-one? Is this a rap video reality? Come on guys, any defense of Porter's actions is a joke.

 

 

A source said the 6-foot-5, 307-pound Jones is telling those close to him that he was "jumped" at the table by six other people who were with Porter. The source said Jones is claiming he was hit in the back of the head by one of Porter's associates just before being punched in the face by the 6-3, 250-pound linebacker.

I haven't heard that, but everything I heard was on the AP. It's typically reliable, but if Porter kicked him, and they robbed him, Porter should go to jail.
