March 17, 200719 yr I think this macthup favors Louisville more than people realize. Texas A&M appearently has the best fg% on defense in the tournament. Believe it or not I think this favors Louisville because of the way they have been playing recently. Louisville found a cure to thier scoring woes by changing the way they score, Louisville has learned to work for points. I think this helps the Cards by eliminating the need to shoot well to win. I think the Cards will give A&M thier wosrt loss of the season.

UofL has 1 day to prepare for all sorts of gimmick D on top of the good man-to-man that A&M plays. That and Law is the best clutch shooter in the nation this year. I like A&M.
March 17, 200719 yr However this is something that we hardly ever see happen in the tournament, and I dont get why they did it. It really just makes no sense. If UK were playing in Columbus, you wouldn't say a word about it...Give it up, man...
March 17, 200719 yr If UK were playing in Columbus, you wouldn't say a word about it...Give it up, man... While, technically not the same thing, as Columbus is in a different state and much further away, I completely agree. Sure it's an advantage for UofL, but the games are decided on the floor, not by which floor the games played on. As far as the game goes, I'm a little concerned that UofL won't be able to get such easy looks on the offensive end of the ball against the swarming Aggies D. UofL is hot right now, but I just don't know who they have that can contain Law. If they can stop his dribble penetration I say the have a good shot. As much as I hate to say it..... UofL-68 A&M-63
March 17, 200719 yr Plus I seem to remember a bit of complaining about UK and this situation in the Wade tournament... Actually Marquette and Wade had the advantage that year. Kentucky had to play in Minnesota with both Marquette and Wisconsin in the same region.

Of course...My point was the fact that if UK were playing Kansas in Columbus, UL's situation wouldn't be an issue...thumb:
March 17, 200719 yr Well UL is playing good, and considering that UL somehow as a 6 seed gets to play pretty much at home in the 2nd round against a 3 seed. I will pick UL to win this game... I sincerely admire your animosity. It is so becoming.
March 17, 200719 yr Author Take it or leave it, but Pitino said the crowd in Lexington makes no differece at all in the outcome of the game...
March 17, 200719 yr I heard on the radio that a bunch of OSU fans started chanting Go Rutgers to a big group of Cardinal fans....the Cardinal fans responded by doing the Gator Chomp... Classic!!!

March 17, 200719 yr Hard game to pick. UL played awesome. A & M has a pretty good point guard. I think he neutralizes the press and UL's frosh corps are not able to overcome it. A & M 82 UL 73
