March 9, 200719 yr Looked like West Virginia's legs just couldn't compete any more with the Cards. Fun game to watch.
March 9, 200719 yr If Pitino had managed to recruit just one pure shooter, this team would be absolutely sick. They still have trouble hitting the broad side of a barn at times. What made up for it is that they played a first have that was as good defensively as anyone could ever ask for; the Mountaineers could never find an open look. Go Cards.

Jerry Smith isn't a pure shooter. That's news to me...
March 9, 200719 yr How close was Sosa to a travel on that game tying layup? Two and a half steps from inside the key.
March 9, 200719 yr I went to Marshall so I'm not a fan... Hey, I'm a big Marshall fan right now. They managed to cover the spread for me tonight - by .5 points! :dancingpa

March 9, 200719 yr How close was Sosa to a travel on that game tying layup? Two and a half steps from inside the key. It was more like three and a half steps, he picked the ball up at the FT line, but it's not a walk if they don't call it.
March 9, 200719 yr Congratulations to UL! This is a good win for them. I think both coaches do a great job with their teams. UL is really playing their best ball at the right time.
