I like this. As leader of the team, someone needs to hold these yahoos accountable. The coach can only do so much. I am sure that this is not the first time he has said this in the lockerroom and it hasn't work. Call them out in public if they aren't doing what they need to do. No problem with that.

"The tradition here (at Kentucky) is that we were making everybody back down. We've got to get back to being the intimidators."

 

"We don't need to be taking other teams' punch, we need to be the one (delivering) that punch first," Bradley said. "When we're pressuring the ball and being aggressive like we were the first half, we do well. We need to do that for 40 minutes."

I'm glad someone on the team finally grew a back bone and called them out. This could be a positive or a negative thing. It should be a positive challenge to the team but watching these kids respond to situations through the year, it could also be the begging of the end for this team this year. I guess only time will tell.

Wish he'd stepped up a little sooner, but better late than never. Glad someone had the "fortitude" to call out his teammates.

It can only help....I mean, is it really going to matter if UK loses out. I don't think so. While that may not be expected, it shouldn't surprise anyone. So, if it backfires and doesn't work, the result will be something that most people see as a decent probability anyway...if it works, then UK could actually win a couple of games.

I think he felt that since Noah is a post player, he was expecting a post player to step up and physically challenge Noah. Not by fighting but tough, basketball play. And that didn't happen.

 

They just stood back and let them do whatever they wanted with no fight about it. Similar to what happened at Tennessee.

I seem to remember him getting up in Bogut's face and looked like he was ready to throw down. I would take him on my team in a fight over any of the other UK players.
