Highlands owns NKY reguardless of Size the have only lost to 2 different NKY schools since 1996 they have lost 5 games to those schools from (CCH 97, 01, 06, 06 Dixie 02).

Ryle over Highlands.

Not this year........maybe last year...Ryle lost their whole team and HHS has a ton coming back.

Contrary to popular belief, Ryle is not loosing a lot. They return alot on defense and offense. A couple of key players in particular are Schmitz and Morgan. These are two players who played great sophmores/juniors and as seniors will be great. Ryle will beat highlands.

Ryle has quite a bit comming back. I will say it will be a good football game, I am not got to say that they will flat out beat Highlands.

It would be interesting if Beechwood would play their JV and see if they could beat everybody in the district. However........they have lost district games to other teams over the last 2 years besides NCC

While I may disagree with the bolded part of your post, I love the support of your program. Looking forward to the contest. If the Birds aren't really focused on Ryle, your prognistication may be correct.

I do not follow Highlands except for when my team plays them and I have never seen the Bluebirds not be focused on the task at hand. I would think Highlands would win this game it may be close but I think they would win.

 

Think about this Ryle's SUCCESSFUL season last year would be a disappointing season at Highlands.

Think about this Ryle's SUCCESSFUL season last year would be a disappointing season at Highlands.

How do you figure that? Only losing two games in the state of Kentucky, one out of state being Glen Este (Ohio) all together 3 loses. and the 4a state runner ups. That's one disappointing resume right there (joking).

That is what would make it disappointing at Highlands. Just watch interviews with their Coach he says they veiw every season as they either Win the State Championship or not.

 

I in no way think Ryle's season was disappointing but by Highlands standard it was.

 

I think Highlands has proven thier dominance in NKY with the few exceptions I mentioned.
