March 4, 200719 yr Final. Outstanding ball game on national television (ESPN2). Congrats to the Colonels as they beat the favorite in the championship game!!!
March 4, 200719 yr You beat me to it (posting th thread) MSU. Great win for the Colnels! They held on down the stretch when I thought that they were going to blow it.
March 4, 200719 yr Author They looked shaky, but managed to do what it takes to get in. Unfortunately the OVC was weak this year. They will most likely face a juggernaut in the first round.
March 4, 200719 yr Congrats to EKU. Good to see a team that plays with HEART.:dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa
March 4, 200719 yr Awesome game to watch!!! EKU struggled with the press the last 4 minutes of the game. Too bad that they will be a 16 seed in the tourney!
March 4, 200719 yr Might want to work on the press offense. That combined with a couple of questionable foul calls at the end almost did them in. The refs played too big of a part in this one IMO, but at least it turned out okay.

Welcome to OVC basketball. The officiating in this conference has been sketchy at best all season. There were several games that rank as some of the worst officiated games that I have ever watched - and I've seen my fair share of 15th and 16th region games!!!
