February 25, 200719 yr I think LSU is just a better team without their 300 pound shooting guard. I dont really agree with that! I mean right now they are playing like a better team, but part of that is because teams dont know what to expect when they play them right now. When they had Davis teams knew it was a inside game throwing it in to Davis, but now teams haven't got use to what to prepare for. Teams will start getting use to how they play now, and they wont be able to keep this up. I mean they still only scored 66 points today, and if they want to keep winning and have a chance to win the SEC tournametn they will need Davis back...

With Big Blubber, they were last place in the SEC and had a 6-game SEC losing streak. Without him, they almost beat Kentucky on the road and they beat number 3 Florida at home by 10 points.

And all I know is they blew a 16 point lead against UK, because after that great start they had no one who could score and UK got back into it. I also know that without Big Baby Morris dominated and that is why we won with his 20 points and 10 rebounds. And I also know that they played a UF team today that has clinched the WHOLE SEC last game, and probably didn't come out playing that hard because they had already won the SEC and they knew the best player for LSU wasn't even playing. So yeah all I know is the facts as well...

February 25, 200719 yr I really just think that their team chemistry is better with Davis cheering, but of course that is just my opinion. Yeah right NOW no doubt it is. But there is alot of things you got to take into account, when they play teams right now teams dont know what to expect. Teams will start to realize how they are playing and adjust to it. You can't lose your best player and one of the better players in the nation at that and be a better team because of it. If they want any chance at all at winning the SEC tournament they will need Davis back. Without him they will get torn up inside by the big players in the SEC. Today they won because they beat UF to every loose ball, but cant expect them to get every loose ball in 4 straight games in the SEC, and to be able to stop all those low post in the SEC. The fact is they will have to have Davis back if they want any chance at maybe making the tournament. However the good thing that will come out of this is that it will give the players on the team more confidence now, and when Davis comes back they should be a real threat....
