Without Miller, Mason is an average team. Thats how good this kid is, he makes those other guys around him so much better. Bracken has some weapons. Jesse Hall is one of the best PG's in the region. And they have a solid inside game with Hamilton and Cooper. But they have noone that can score or defend on the perimeter. Miller and Setty will have field days. If Bracken can keep the pace at a near standstill then they can keep it close.

I honestly Think that Bracken has a chance in this one. I've played this Mason team, and it's definitely not their best group.

 

We had them on the ropes for the first half of the game (but 2 halves = a whole) Needless to say, we got trampled in the end.

 

If Mason comes out overlooking Bracken like they did us, they might end up in another tight position.

If im not mistaken though didnt mason have Miller and a few of there other starters out for a long priod in the first half. I agree they should not over look anyone and i thought Augusta played a very good game last year. I look for Bracken to keep this one close and surprise alot of people.

They were out because they fouled, not because they were letting their second string get some tourney time. Fouling is still part of how they played when they overlooked Augusta.

It's very funny now everyone in every county surrounding Maysville hates Mason Co, but in the past years when Mason Co. went to the state tourny, even in the early years when Clyde Barbour was having the big parties there were alot of people from Mt. Olivet (including myself), Bracken Co and other areas surrounding Maysville in attendance wearing blue. I also wore red when Pendleton County went to rupp and I try to support most 10th region teams. It's a shame that so many people let jealously rule their heads instead of supporting the kids that are playing the games. Most small schools would not want to seed the tournament and I doubt that Mason Co. would either.

All I was doing was speaking from experience.

I saw how it went when we were overlooked, no now I (along with everyone in Lewis, Fleming, Bracken and Robertson Counties) hate Mason?

I think each teams fans want to see there own do well come tourny time and hope for nothing but the best for there team but when your team is out i still believe you root for the teams from the 10th so if Mason or Mong. or Bracken or Augusta wins i think thats who everyone should support JMO afterall it is all about the kids and High School Basketball in the state of Kentucky thats why tourny time is so special here in this great Basketball State!!!!!!!!!!1
