Pineville 71 Clay County 45

Good win for Pineville. They needed to get a win tonight and thats exactly what they got. If they can beat Cumberland Thursday night at Cumberland then they will be hitting their stride at the right time. Pineville has went through some hard times this year, and could have thrown in the towel for the whole season at halftime of the Corbin game when they were getting beat pretty bad. But they fought back and made some runs, and despite them losing that game it showed fight and they're still fighting. Now they need to win out the rest of the week, and not let Lynn Camp upset them like they did last year in districts. Great win for J.D. and his boys, and an even better job of turning the season around.

WOW! Did Day dominate on the inside in this game?

Big win for the Lions. Sounds like they are playing well as of late. J.D. Strange can coach with the best of them.

Boy this is a horrible time for the Tigers to be playing so badly. I think I would rather have played the Lady Tigers against the Lions tonight than the Tigers. Anyone know what is going on with the Tigers?

Clay may have played a little over their heads through several weeks of the season, considering all they lost last year, but I'm sure they're not as bad as they've played lately.

Perhaps they peaked too early.

Clays a good team, and should have had a VERY close game against Corbin and Pineville. I just hope they can fix the problems very SOON

Problems can be fixed, Pineville is proof of that. And I believe it was you who asked if Day dominated and from what I've been told he did.

Its funny how a month ago we were debating if cchs could challenge sl in the region. Now they can't challenge phs

Man, not a shock that Pineville could beat Clay, but a shock that they could win by 26, a game the Lions can really build on going into the district. Clay better get it back in gear.

Might have a lot to do with the Coaching lately! When you have the athletes to win, it's easy to coach. But when you have players that have to be told what to do, that is when you earn your money. Some do it a whole lot better than others. :)

Great win for the Lions, JD is old school and that makes me happy for him and his kids. I guess the fine backers of CCHS are wondering why they never really warmed up to Coach Mike Jones like they should have, with all due respect to the Lions I don't remember any of his teams having a loss like this.

Wow. Great win for the Lions. Anybody have the scoring rundown for Pville?

What has happened to the Tigers? I like it...A LOT!

That hour long talk by Spurlock after the Corbin game must have really fired 'em up for the Pineville game.
