CovCath Colonels come from thirteen down early (25-12) and rally to beat Dixie 50-45.

Cov Cath started out bad again.. Then there defense stepped up. Dixie has no bench they need to start getting there center the ball more because he looked good tonight expect he doesnt move from the block. Nice win Cov Cath

I agree, Dixie will be better if Mace touches the ball every now and then. First time I'd seen him since last season and he really did a good job of trimming down. CovCath's perimeter game is very good but they looked a bit thin in the paint offensively outside of Maile. Dixie got off to a good start, Listerman then apparently woke them up during a timeout and they started to take the ball to the rack a bit more, they went on one heck of a run. Dixie has some talent but overall they aren't a very deep team.

Probably one of the most boring games that I have ever watched.

Chris Bondick of CovCath came out firing after halftime for CovCath, scoring 8 straight CovCath points, I believe.

Counting the end of the 2nd quarter and the entire 3rd quarter after the Blue Colonels were down 25-12, they went on a 30-6 tear and ended the 3rd quarter up 42-31. That's some kind of turn around!!! They made a believer of me of what they can do when they get serious. :thumb:

Listerman is one of the state's top 5 coaches in my book, but yes he coaches a very boring style of game from a fan's stanpoint. I have seen them make up to 12 passes in their offense before getting the shot they want, and this against a great man to man pressure team. They do this as well as anyone in the state.

Dixie??

Dixie??

My guess is that "rojas4" was talking about the Scott County vs. CovCath game......

It was a shame, that the scheduled game between these two fine basketball teams, couldn't have been played due to the weather.

Nice win for the Colonels.

This is made in jest, yes?

Nope, a lot of people outside the 9th region are very fond of Coach Listerman.
