The fouls were RH 7 - BC 8 (for the second half) about midway through the fourth quarter. They didn't get lopsided until BC began to foul intentionally with less than two minutes remaining. BC added at least six new fouls inside of the two minute mark. Overall the officiating for the game was very even. :thumb:

I would have to agree with KOTJ on this one. The officiating was sloppy for both teams & the game was sloppy for both teams. There was one point when both refs called 2 different things--it was like okay gentlemen which one do we listen to. I've been watching games all year and honestly I can only think of 1 game that was called well. I realize that officials are human and they can't be perfect but I'd settle for consistency, if they are gonna make calls then make them both ways. Fastbreak--I agree overall the officiating for the game was very evenly sloppy.

I felt at times that Rose Hill allowed Boyd County to dictate the tempo of the game. When RH stepped up the defensive intensity of the press, I felt like the tide turned toward RH's favor.

 

IMO, RH needs to hit the ground running in the next meeting.

 

And, give Malloy the Green Light. He's got such a smooth stroke.

However, after considerable debate, it was decided that Coach Pratt's contingent resembled the Sopranos, including Uncle Junior, whereas Coach Fraley and his group favored the Corleones with one in particular being a dead ringer for Luca Brasi.

Rickyp was a snazzy dresser last night....but sloppy WAS the Game.....lol---I agree that selby and blanton should have fouled out in the third quarter. BUT------Euton and both Jacksons should have fouled out in the first half....... :p :p :p :p :p

 

I would like to see some consistency in the refs as well. 16th region seems to be scrapping the barrel for refs.....i just dont get it. I know its easy to armchair from the stands but there were some horrible calls both ways in this game. I still do not think the outcome would have been any different. If Boyd would have had a 6 or 8 point lead in the 6 minute mark of the 4th...they would have went into there prevent offence and lost anyway.......

Good question. I didn't think it was all that bad but I could be wrong.
