Thank you to Coach Bradley Boone at Mason County HS. Dixie will be heading to Mason Co next week to play the Royals.

And I don't make our schedule, but if I have any say in it for 2027, I won't schedule Conner, Mason Co will be happy to come to Dixie to take their place on my schedule.

Coach Boone is a really good dude from a good family...his dad played at Maysville High School and was an assistant coach at Mason County under @ChiefSmoke. Glad he worked things out with you guys at Dixie to get to have a final game to finish out the season.

Seems like Conner doesn’t like a lot of NKY teams.

We had a great game with them this year. They won 20-19, we dropped a 2 point conversion for the win with 16 seconds left in the game. But so be it, we have a game vs Mason Co's JV squad next Saturday

I was going to add to this thread but you beat me to it, no way I would schedule Conner and when a team opts out of the end of season game(s) I do NOT think they should be eligible to participate in the postseason next year.

I have said basically the same thing about any school that cancels a JV game, that is it, I would never schedule them again.

Glad Dixie got another game...major props to Mason County.

Crazy to hear people backing out of an opportunity to play, unless they didn't have enough healthy to field a team.
