They will play for the title tomorrow night. The game will be streamed on GHP Sports at 7:00pm. It will take a huge effort for Spencer to pull off the upset.

Spencer is fun to watch, and I think Coach Burns does a great job every year. But, these teams are just playing 2 different sports.

North wins this one.

If Spencer had their two best players, maybe they win once if these teams played 50 times. But they do not and this game will not be close.

I think that if Spencer County's big guys control the boards and play well this will be a good game. Just not sure if their guards can keep up with North Oldham's.

23-12 North Oldham about halfway through the 2Q.

36-15 North Oldham at halftime. Bears held it close for a good while but North can’t miss now.

52-31 North Oldham after 3.

Can anyone else think of anytime in KHSAA history the Region tournament MVP was an 8th grader, or younger?

I remember once, and not that long ago, the MVP of the State Tournament was an 8th grader.

Edit:  I guess not.  Thought for sure Zion Harmon was MVP when Bowling Green won the state title, but apparently Terry Taylor was…..

Man was I wrong. Thought this would be closer than it was

He’s unbelievable. Best thing to ever happen to that team is the 17th best sophomore point guard in the country skedaddling.

Can you say “Addition by Subtraction”?
