Yes. The schedule is:

First round games

Monday 3/2-girls Anderson Co vs. Walton-Verona at 6:30 and Owen Co. vs North Oldham at 8

Tuesday 3/3-girls Simon Kenton vs. Eminence at 6:30 and South Oldham vs. Spencer Co. at 8

Wednesday 3/4-boys Henry Co. vs South Oldham at 6:30 and Simon Kenton vs. Spencer Co. at 8

Thursday 3/5-boys North Oldham vs. Walton-Verona at 6:30 and Woodford Co. vs. Gallatin Co. at 8

Friday 3/6-Girls semifinals at 6:30 and 8

Saturday 3/7 Girls Final at 7:00

Monday 3/9 Boys semifinals at 6:30 and 8

Tuesday 3/10 Boys final at 7:00

There will be a pregame show starting 30 minutes before the first game each night. A postgame and pregame in between and a postgame after the 2nd game.

Anyone not able to attend should definitely tune in.  This will be a first class broadcast promoting the 8th region.

Henry definitely surprised me with that W over South Oldham. Glad a 31st district team advanced. 

I know this might seem a little late to the party on this post but after seeing Simon Kenton exit again in the 8th region tournament I think it has to be asked.  Is Trent Steiner on the hot seat?  Just lookin at his 23 years at the helm of the Pioneers program and sure they have found success in the district but SK has 924 boys in their school which is significantly more than any other 8th region program.  The next closes is Oldham County at 867 and they've definitely seen more region titles in that same span.  

I like Trent but just curious if it might be time for him to stepaside as we know the school won't let him go from the basketball position.

So who would replace him with?  I'm just not real sure that he has ever had the talent to have done any better.

I'm not one to call for jobs, especially of underpaid and underappreciated high school coaches, but losing to a district runner up in the first round without their best two players should never happen at Simon Kenton. If Spencer County didn't start turning the ball over they would've won by 20/30, too.

That's easy.  They just call alum Mike Hester who has been doing a great job at Walton Verona and actually took some of SK's talent with him when he went there.  

SK had the talent for years to compete for an 8th Region title.  No one has had the size or depth that they've had over the last 21 years in the 8th.

Actually over the seven years Hester has been at WV, Stiener has a better record.  SK is 132/76 , WV is 128/95.

If the Simon job was to ever open up there would be plenty of coaches apply for the job in my opinion.
